Welcome to Martha's Dog Walking

Hello, and welcome to my website! My name is Martha, and I absolutely LOVE dogs. 

 

I’ve always wanted a dog of my own, but my parents aren’t quite ready for one yet – so in the meantime, I’d love to help look after yours! I have plenty of experience from caring for a variety of dogs from family and friends.

I'm free between 30 Jun 2025 to 25 Jul 2025 – perfect timing for daily walks, holiday cover, or just some extra company for your pup. I know all the best walking routes around Girton and surrounding villages, which I know to quiet, full of green spaces, and are safely away from busy roads.

How long are your dog walks?

My dog walks typically last 30-60 minutes, depending on your dog's needs and preferences.

Do you take care of all types of dogs?

Although I genuinely love all dogs, my business caters only for small-medium sized dogs. In the past I have looked after a labradoodle, which is probably the maximum I would like to care for!

What safety measures do you have in place?

I prioritise the safety of all dogs in my care. None of my walking routes are near busy roads, and I know all the safe spots to let dogs roam free off-lead (this can be changed in the fill-out form above).

There are a couple options for you to choose when it comes to getting your dog to me. I am based in Girton.

  1. I can come to you, then take your dog from there (my walks are limited to Girton, Eddington and Oakington villages)
  2. If it is more convenient for you, you could drop your dog off to me at either my house (contact me for specific address) or Girton Recreation Ground
